SETBACK ADJUSTMENT REQUEST: To reduce the rear yard setback from 5' to no less than2' (varying width) for an irregular shaped swimming pool. CONDITION: Obtain a building permit from the Building & Safety Department. After review it was determined that: 1.' This adjustment is consistent with the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordinance to allow development of accessory swimming pools in an R-2 District. 2. There are special circumstances applicable to the property, including such factors as size, shape, topography, location or surroundings that, justify approval of the adjustment. In this case, the private rear yard area is small based on previously installed hardscape improvements. 3. This adjustment will not be detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of this private, gated community because the rear yard backs up to the existing golf course. which. is an integral open space element of the PGA West Resort development. .
