Community Services Commission -Analyzes community services programs and fees; examines operations of parks and recreation facilities; reviews park maintenance standards and park master plans; and proposes recreation and social programs. Two members are non-professional laypersons, who have demonstrated special interest, competence, experience, or knowledge in historic preservation -related disciplines. Meetings are held on the 3rd. Wednesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. (Vacancies: 1 Professional, 1 Non -Professional and 1 Alternate Position) Housing Commission - Reviews and makes recommendations on matters that come before the Housing Authority regarding housing, policy procedures, proposals, and programs. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. on an as needed basis, at least quarterly. (Vacancies: 1 Tenant of the Housing Authority and 1 Alternate Position) Investment Advisory Board - Advises the City Council on matters dealing with'City--inves ents; reviews_ Treasurer's, reports rid_annual-investment policy statements and makes .recommendations on ,policies/procedures and investment services providers. Candidates should have a verifiable background. in finance and/or securities, preferably with knowledge and/ or experience in markets, finandial controls, and accounting for securities.
