Thank you for submitting an Architectural Application for your improvement request. We are happy to
inform you that the Esplanade Architectural Committee has approved your application for the listed project
item(s), as submitted:

The approval is contingent upon compliance with the specifications set forth in the approved application.
Esplanade acknowledges that any and all agreed changes to the original design that may be a condition of
this approval will be at the homeowner's expense. The correction of any damage caused by this agreed
construction will also be at the homeowner's expense. Homeowner shall henceforth agree to maintain the
improvement in accordance with the guidelines and aesthetics of the community.
It is the homeowner's responsibility to obtain any permits, which may be required. Please be aware this
application approval does not supersede City Building Codes. You should contact the City Planning
Department to determine what, if any, permits may be required. Additionally, the Board of Directors
encourages that you use a licensed and insured contractor. This approval does not release the homeowner
from meeting any county, state or federal requirements such as building permits, workmen's compensation,
or other waivers or permits.
If your project take more than 24 hours to complete, a deposit of $500.00 will be needed in order to proceed.
Please bring a check addressed to the Esplanade HOA to the DRM offices, either location, and in return you
will be given a sign to be placed in the front yard at your address for the duration of the project. The sign
indicates to anyone passing by that your project has been approved by the HOA.
Upon completion of your project, you will need to submit a signed copy of the Notice of Completion Form
and return the HOA yard sign. The Committee with then inspect and sign off on your project and the deposit
will processed for return. Please note there could be delays if the work was not completed as approved.

responsibilities and possible risk you may incur by having this permit issued in your name as the
Owner -Builder. We will not issue a building permit until you have read, initialed your understanding of each provision,
signed, and returned this form to us at our official address indicated. An agent of the owner cannot execute this notice
unless you, the property owner, obtain the prior approval of the permitting authority.
OWNER'S ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND VERIFICATION OF INFORMATION
DIRECTIONS: Read and initial each statement below to signify you understand or verify this information.

building permit that erroneously implies that the property owner is providing his or her own labor and material personally. I, as

and his or her employees while working on my property. My homeowner's insurance may not provide coverage for those

government, withhold payroll taxes, provide workers' compensation disability insurance, and contribute to unemployment

structures cannot legally build them with the intent to offer them for sale, unless all work is performed by licensed
