EROSION CONTROL PLAN NOTES:
1. ALL PROTECTIVE DEVICES SHOWN SHALL BE IN PLACE AT THE END OF EACH WORKING DAY
WHEN THE FIVE (5) DAY RAIN PROBABILITY FORECAST EXCEEDS FORTY (40) PERCENT. SILT
AND OTHER DEBRIS MUST BE REMOVED AFTER EACH RAINFALL.
2. IF GERMINATION OF HYDROSEEDED SLOPES FAIL TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE COVERAGE OF GRADED
SLOPES PRIOR TO STORM EVENT, THE SLOPES SHALL BE STABILIZED BY STRAW INSTALLED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 35.023 OF THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL HANDBOOK OF
THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
3. ALL LOOSE SOIL AND DEBRIS WHICH MAY CREATE A POTENTIAL HAZARD TO OFF -SITE
PROPERTY SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE AS DIRECTED BY THE INSPECTOR.
4. ANY CONCRETE OR LIQUID WASTES ARE PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING A DESIGNATED RETENTION
BASIN FOR STORM WATER RUN-OFF.
5. ALL EQUIPMENT AND WORKERS FOR EMERGENCY WORK SHALL BE MADE AVAILABLE AT ALL
TIMES DURING THE RAINY SEASON. ALL NECESSARY MATERIALS SHALL BE STOCKPILED ON SITE
AT CONVENIENT LOCATIONS TO FACILITATE CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY DEVICES WHEN RAIN
IS EMINENT.
6. DEVICES SHOWN ON PLANS SHALL NOT BE MOVED OR MODIFIED WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF
THE ENGINEERING INSPECTOR.
7. ERODED SEDIMENTS AND OTHER POLLUTANTS MUST BE RETAINED ON SITE AND MAY NOT BE
TRANSPORTED FROM THE SITE VIA SHEETFLOW, SWALES, AREA DRAINS, NATURAL DRAINAGE
COURSES, OR WIND.
8. EXCESS OR WASTE CONCRETE OR DRILLING FLUIDS MAY NOT BE WASHED INTO THE PUBLIC
WAY OR ANY OTHER DRAINAGE SYSTEM. PROVISIONS SHALL BE MADE TO RETAIN CONCRETE
WASTES ON SITE UNTIL THEY CAN BE DISPOSED OF AS SOLID WASTE.
9. TRASH AND CONSTRUCTION RELATED SOLID WASTES MUST BE DEPOSITED INTO A COVERED
RECEPTACLE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF RAINWATER AND DISPERSAL BY WIND.
10. A MOBILE VEHICLE CONCRETE WASHOUT CONTAINER MAY BE USED ONSITE.
