DIRECTOR'S HEARING
MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2015
A Director's Hearing was called to order at 11:05 a.m. by Community Development
Director Les Johnson.
STAFF PRESENT: Community Development Les Johnson, Planning Manager Gabriel
Perez, Principal Engineer Brian McKinney, Principal Planner Wally
Nesbit, and Executive Assistant Monika Radeva.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. Tentative Parcel Map 2015-0003 (TPM 36921) submitted by Prest Vuksic
Architects proposing to subdivide two commercial parcels, consisting of
approximately 13.75 acres, into three parcels to allow for the construction of a
traffic signal at the intersection of Adams Street and Corporate Center Drive.
CEQA: exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15315
(Class 15 - Minor Land Divisions). Location: west side of Adams Street, at
Corporate Center Drive.
Principal Planner Wally Nesbit presented the information contained in the staff
report, a copy of which is on file in the Community Development Department.
Community Development Director Johnson declared the PUBLIC HEARING OPEN
at 11:06 a.m.
Public Speaker: Mr. Michael Shovlin, Owner, La Quinta, CA - introduced himself
and said he was in support of the Conditions of Approval as proposed by staff.
Community Development Director Johnson declared the PUBLIC HEARING
CLOSED at 11:07 a.m.
Motion - A motion was made by Community Development Director Johnson to
approve Tentative Parcel Map 2015-0003 (TPM 36921) as submitted with staffs
recommendations.
