Hi Cheri,
If those transmission and distribution facilities are considered wholly private and not owned,
maintained or regulated by IID in any way, they would need to submit engineered plans and
obtain permits and approvals from Building Division.

I have a question from the applicant for The Wave project south of Avenue 58 and west of
Madison Street. They have spoken with IID and have been told they are going to need to
provide a substation and transmission and distribution lines for their project. What is the
permitting process through us for those items?
