Dear Mayor Evans -
Garrett Simon, of the Meriwether Co., did a presentation last week out here at Trilogy. He did talk about
the wave basin, but
never about the rest of what appears to be a mini "X-Treme" sports park that is being planned for their
site. Please see this
article from the L.A. Times below in my email. If it can't be open, advise me and I'll copy/paste it to you.
If all of this winds up being approved by the planning commission and the City Council, the tranquility of
our area will be ruined.
I have no objections to a hotel and million dollar homes - though why someone would pay that much to
live in the midst of
this theme park is beyond me - but I take issue with the rest of this proposal.
If a circle is drawn from The Quarry around to Trilogy, homes along Ave. 58, Santerra, parts of PGA West,
and Andalusia will all
be impacted by this. It seems more suited for a large piece of acreage without all the housing
communities - maybe by the
BMW test track.

I would appreciate your sharing my opinion with the other members of the City Council, and thank you
for your thoughful
consideration on this issue.
