With a unique approach to induced -combustion design, a new
four -pa" heat exchanger, an inshol burner system, and its
safety features. 1Ms furnace is without peer in the standard line
of furnaces. The Model 395A achieves one of the higher Annual
Fuel Ulwzzation Efficiency (AFUE) ratings available today in a
standard Yne, noncondensing, Induced -combustion furnace. Its
sass and economy of Installation, ease of serviceability, eco-
nomical Initial cost, and short payback time put it In a class well
Owed of the competition. The Model 395A Gas Furnace has
the kind of overall performance needed in today's now toms.
FEATURES
VENTING—The 395A Induced -Combustion Furnace operates at
zero or slightly negative static pressure at the lumace-to-flue
junction: therefore, It can be vented Into any existing approvea
chimney or 81 vent: or like a natural -draft furnace. common•
vented with an existing gas water heater.
MONOPORT INSHOT BURNERS—Produce better air -to -gas
mixture which burns cleaner than harder -to -control multiport of
ribbon -type bumers. The large monoport on the inshot burner, -
seldom. if ever, clogs or needs cleaning.
FOUR -PASS HEAT EXCHANGER—Design breakthrough pro
duces accelerated heat transfer. These furnaces extract hea
other furnaces waste up the flue. 1 O -year Limited Warranty.
BUILT-IN SAFETY—Model - 395A goes beyond most othe
standard furnaces with these two safety features: (1) a drat
safeguard switch detects a flue blockage or downdraft, and (2
a pressure switch proves, combustion airflow before burne
Ignition. .
SOLID-STATE BLOWER CONTROL—Timed blower operation
stops annoying recycling common with thermally activate•
blower controls.
PRINTED -CIRCUIT CONTROL CENTER—The printed -circ
board and all internal wiring are factory installed. Low-vollay
terminals permit quick -connecting the thermostat and air -conn,
tioning control circuits. High-voltage terminals are also provide
for quick -connecting an air cleaner.
WRAPAROUND CASING—One-piece welded construction Or-
Inates casing noise. Foil -faced insulation in the heat exchange
section reduces the heat loss. The low•profil.
46.3/16 -inch height makes the 395A a slide -In unit for man
replacement installations.
EFFICIENCY—Exceeds California minimum efficiency standard
(Title 20) by a comfortable margin. 10 •
NITROUS OXIDES (NOx)—Meets NOx'emisaions level set t)
South Coast and Bay Area Air Oualily.Managament Districts.
The design of Mte Model 395A Is A.O.A. eertifled for natural g:.

BY accept the optional connecting tubing required between thle
condo WkV Will and the gvaporalor coil.
FEATURES
COIL DESIGN—These coils are specially designed for use with
remote condensing units. Optimum refrigerant -to -air heat trans-
fer Is accomplished by the tight bond between the mechanically
expanded tubing and the fins. Rippled -surface plate fin design
maximizes cooling and minimizes pressure drop of the cUculat-
Ing air.
Models 518A Cased Coils and Models 507D Uncased Coils
can be Installed in eilher uPllow or counterflow applications.
SIZes'O18 and 024 are slab coils and site 030 thru 060 are A.
Coils. Accessory casings are available for the uncased cone,
Optional adapter and casing expander kits are available.
The 5068 Cased Horizontal Coil'rounds out this family of Coils.
The 018- and 024 -size coil4 are equipped with c
refrigerant metering, and the ap• tubes for
030 through 060 sizes have a

Detailed cooling capacities are based on evaporator and condensing unit at same elevation and connected by 25 feel of BOP tubing. It other
than 25 teal of tubing is used and/or evaporator is located above condensing unit, a slight variation In capacity may occur. Sae Installation
instructions for sizing of liquid and suction tubes
total any Sensible capacities are net.
Sensible capacities based on 806F entering air at evaporator. For sensible capacities at other than 806F, deduct 835 Stuh per 1000 INlmin of
evaporator sir per degree below 800F, or add 835 Blurt per 1000111Imin of evaporator air per degree above 809F.
total System KW includes compressor, condenser fan motor, and evaporator blower
motor.
