The Design and Development Department has determined that the proposed zoning code amendments are exempt from environmental
review under CERA, pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3), Review for Exemptions — Common Sense Rule, in that it can be seen with
certainty that there is no possibility for this action to have a significant effect on the environment, and individual development plans
will be reviewed under CEOA as they are proposed.The La Quinta Planning Commission will consider this determination at the Hearing.
Any person may submit written comments on any of the contemplated actions listed above to the Design and Development Department
prior to the Hearing and/or may appear and be heard in support of, or opposition to, the project at the time of the Hearing. If you
challenge the decision of any of the actions listed above in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone
else raised either at the Public Hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Design and Development Department at, or prior
to the Public Hearing. The proposed files may be viewed by the public Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday
