The City if La Quinta will be soon depositing the sum of $5,146,500 additional in the above referenced action, pursuant to the order, attached. That will bring the total deposit amount to $6,125,000. We expect that the deposit will be made by wire transfer no later than close of business, Wednesday, December 16, 2020. The City of La Quinta’s Finance Director, Karla Romero, will be coordinating the deposit, and she is copied on this e-mail to the extent coordination is needed to sort the logistics. I am also advising that we will be seeking expedited disbursement of the deposited amount, and all other sums on deposit, pursuant to a Stipulated Judgment we will be seeking from the court, likely early next week. The judgment will contain instructions for amounts and payees. My assistant, Mia Slobodien (also copied) can provide you the FedEx account numbers to expedite this process. I do have a question: given COVID limitations and backlogs in court document processing, will certified copies of the deposit or withdrawal orders still be required? Also, is there an undisbursed amount of interest that has accrued to date?
