First off, thanks for researching the possibility of 24" centered lights and as these are not available; the 12" centered lights will be fine. This is with our understanding that the wiring will be the "Marquee Light" product by NSL with the bulbs replaced with the Westinghouse 1 watt/120volt white LED bulbs as shown in your 11-22-09 email attachments and attached to this email. Additionally, please note that staff approval of the string lighting is only for it location along the top perimeter of the restaurant's parapet roof line, it does not include installation of the lights along the roof of the outdoor patio and/or walkways. (Rous 65000 NSL NATIONAL SPECIALTY LIGHTING SAFETY First make sure power cord IS NOT PLUGGED INTO a receptacle, and fixture is not receiving power in any way. Marque Light strings are manufactured in premolded 5', 10' and 40' lengths. Lay out the project in groups of 40', 10' and 5' sections that do not exceed 80 bulbs in any one interconnected section. To shorten an interconnected section, Marquee Light is field cutable; however, the cut-off portion is unusable and should be disposed of., See Field Cutting below. WARNING: DO NOT INTERCONNECT MARQUEE LIGHT STRINGS IN SECTIONS GREATER THAN 80 TOTAL BULBS. If you decide to cut off a piece of a Marquee Light string to custom fit an application, again first make sure power is not reaching product you are about to cut. Cut the Marquee Light between bulb sockets with a sharp pair of garden shears. Dispose of the excess Marquee Light cutting. Push MQ -003-2 end cap onto cut end of the string. Make sure end cap is secure, then snugly tighten tie wrap around end cap per the drawing below. Cut off excess tie wrap from end cap. WOUNTING Mount individual bulb sockets to mounting surface using appropriate screws. BULB PLACEMENT In each and every bulb socket, screw in E -27/G12 bulbs until snug. WARNING: USE ONLY 110V E -27/G12 BULBS OF 20 WATTS OR LESS. Make sure every bulb socket is secured to the mounting surface, all bulb sockets have the correct bulbs of no more than 20 watts, and an appropriate end cap is terminating the interconnected section. Align the MQ -001 power cord with the unconnected molded end of the first Marquee Light string. Push power cord into string molded end and snugly tighten screw nut on power cord onto molded threads on string. After checking all of the above is secure, then plug power cord into a. 110V receptacle.
