NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR ARTWORK
Piece of Artwork:
WHEREAS, by that certain Art Purchase Agreement dated November 6,
2020 (“Agreement”), THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, a California municipal
corporation (“City”) contracted with Nate Frizzell (“Artist”) to provide certain
“Artwork” (as defined in the Agreement); and,
WHEREAS, as referenced in the Agreement, City shall furnish Artist with
a Notice of Completion upon completion of the fabrication and installation of
the Artwork; and,
WHEREAS, such certificate shall be conclusive determination of
satisfactory completion of the fabrication and installation of the Artwork, as
required by the Agreement, has been satisfactorily completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City hereto certifies as follows:
1. As provided in the Agreement, City does hereby certify that the
fabrication and installation of the Artwork has been fully performed and
completed.
2. Nothing contained in this instrument shall modify in any other way any
executory portions of the Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, City has executed this certificate this 19 day of
January 19, 2021.
