Add 0.05 to any product with true divided lite (dividers through the panes). Note: - Gvalues/Operator types: The default U -value of a fenestration product changes based on cite operator rype. For example, a sliding-type x-indohv will hare a different U -►•aloe than a fixed hvindow that is othenvise identical (see Table 2-6) As the U -value, orientation, Tilt, shading device, solar hear gain coefficient, overhang and fin co►rftgurarion are all input variables, it is recommended that each window of a building be entered into MICROPAS individttall.. 2-38 COMPUANCE 06/1099 0 1.999 by Enercomp, inc 0, Dote • Labeling: As of Januar- 1. 1993, all fenestration products used for crew, retrofnr or remodel construction, must display a label srating the windolt- line's perforrnance.Begirturing in July -1999. the only e.rceprion to labeling is for field fabricared fenestration products. Doors: Anv door haying glass must be entered in MICROPAS as glazing area. For amv door -with an NFRC ratins (doors with more than 50 percent of their surface area made up of glass), the, eitrire area of the door must be entered in MICROPAS as glazing area. since the product rating is for the entire door. For doors with 50 percent or less of their surface area made up of class enter either the entire door area as glazing or the actual arta of glass plus a (Nvo inch frame extending on all sides (the remaining door area is modeled as an OPAQUE SURFACE. The U -Value and solar heat gain coefficient of the door is taken from Table 2-6 and Table 2-7 or manufacturer data. Greenhouse (garden) Windows: Greenhouse Aindow glazing area is calculated using the rough opening for the unit (see Figure 2-23). The n-pically higher U -value of greenhouse windows accounts for additional heat loss from the projecting top, sides and bottom of the unit. Glazing Orientation Orientation (azimuth) for fenestration products is alwa}-s relative to the designated -front orientation (referred to as the Ptan Azimuth) (see Table 2-1). The designations 'Richt and 'Left are from the perspective of someone outside, facing the front of the house. This furnace is built with the most advanced manufacturing equipment, processes, and technology available in order to ensure top quality. Packed into the cabinet are the industry's foremost dealer and homeowner features. The 58ZAV Downflow/ Horizontal Furnace is the newest addition to Carrier's list of product leadership in the gas furnace industry. These induced -combustion. gas- fired furnaces offer not only low installation costs. but fuel economy as well—delivering an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) rating of 80.0%. The Carrier Weather -Maker 8000 utilizes a hot surface, silicon carbide ignition system to save energy and increase reliability. Our engineers have incorporated the patented S-shaped 4 -pass heat exchanger. a new soft mount inducer assembly, and a slow opening gas valve to improve sound level. The Super -S heat exchanger provides better heat transfer while enabling us to make a compact furnace. This provides more room in closet. utility room. and short basement installations. The heat exchanger is constructed of aluminized steel and is backed by a 20 -year Limited Warranty. The Carrier WeatherMaker 8000 Gas Furnace will meet your home heating requirements. This furnace family provides the widest range of heating capacities available. N ,. HEATING & COOLING Product Data 58PAV High -Efficiency Induced -Combustion Upflow Furnace Input Capacities: 45,000 thru 155,000 Btuh 80% AFUE At Budget Price Carrier provides an 80% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) gas furnace for the budget conscious consumer and builder. The 58PAV offers the same high quality you demand and receive from Carrier. The cabinet is constructed from a specially selected galvanized steel. There is also double protection for the cabinet. First, a galvanized stee! substrate provides resistance to rusting. Then the cabinet is constructed of prepainted steel — the same high- quality finish found on refrigerators and dishwashers. The 58PAV offers a hot surface ignition system which provides a superior and more reliable ignition system than older spark relight systems. The heat exchangers are constructed of aluminized steel and covered by a 30 -year Limited Warranty. They are Carrier's patented Super -S heat exchangers that improve heat transfer and enable downsizing of this furnace to only 40 -in. tall.v To improve the sound level. we have incorporated a soft mount inducer assembly and a slow opening gas valve. The control board is the brain of this induced -combustion gas furnace. It offers a unique self-tesr feature that checks all the major functions of the furnace within 1 minute. The control board also features a 3 -amp fuse that protects the transformer and control board. Another feature on the control board is a LED status indicator light to ensure top furnace performance. Using more than 1 method in a system may cause degradation in perfor- mance. Use either the accessory Time-0elay Relay KAAT00101TOR or a furnace equipped with TOR. All Carrier furnaces are equipped with TDR except for the 58GFA. $ Based on computer simulation. TXV must be hard shutoff type. EER - Energy Efficiency Ratio LLS - liquid -Line Solenoid Valve SEER - Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio NOTES: 1. Ratings are net values reflecting the effects of circulating fan motor heat. Supplemental electric heat is not included. 2. Tested outdooriindoor combinations have been tested in accordance with DOE test procedures for central air conditioners. Ratings for other combinations are determined under DOE computer simulation procedures. 3. Determine actual CFM values obtainable for your system by referring to fan performance data in fan coil or furnace coil literature. 15 k 11 1T-7 T: 40 RESIDENTIAL GAS WATER HEATER Available in 30, 40 and 50 Gallon Gas Models * 5 -Year Limited Warranty*. on Tank * 5 -Year Limited Warranty' on Parts I.2" of Polyurethane Foam - Non -CFC Fused Ceramic Shield Tank" • Energy Saving Thermo -Plastic Drain ,Valve • Set and Forget Thermostat`:%%x Aluminized Multi -Port Lo-NOX Buy Natural Gas - Cast Iron for Prom Side Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve Opening (for Top T&P opening specify when ordering) 11 W >M , G52 -30530-3N G52 -30733-3N PROLine 5 -Year GasWest Coast Availability 0* G52 -40S33-3N G52-4OT34-3N 40540-3N G52 -40740-3N i Dimensions in all charts shown in inches.
