This video shows the dark Coral Mountain area and and the sound of a car on Madison. Madison is further from this point than from this point to the Wave Basin. Request copy of video from acallimanis@gmail.com Picture from the 58th St near Madison –what is that light? Bagdouma Park in Coachella –Light is always diffused and visible due to particulates in our air (the light on the right is 60 feet) Please don’t let the developer insult us by saying there will be no light and noise impact to the surrounding developments This will be physically impossible considering the location with quiet nights in this area of the desert, plus the proximity to Coral Mountain with sound echoing and reverberation off the mountain and light reflection and dispersion Excerpts from La Quinta General Plan 2035 –Land Use Policy LU -3.1 Encourage the preservation of neighborhood character and assure a consistent and compatible land use pattern. GOAL LU-4 Maintenance and protection of existing neighborhoods. Policy LU -4.1 Encourage compatible development adjacent to existing neighborhoods and infrastructure. GOAL SC-1: A community that provides the best possible quality of life for all its residents. GOAL OS-3: Preservation of scenic resources as vital contributors to the City’s economic health and overall quality of life. We want Low Density Residential at this Site and NOT 100% STVRs and a Wave Preserve this beauty and serenity for the five developments around Coral Mountain and for the new 100% low density residential development that should be on this magnificent this property Please no Zoning Change!
