He is a video engineer, IT specialist and video editor. Benny has been the Engineer in Charge or Technical Director on hundreds of productions for TV Pro Gear. Benny has trained multiple cities to run their council chambers and has run many city council meetings himself. In addition, he has overseen productions for concert events including Wango Tango, Outsidelands, with artists ranging from Taylor Swift to Metalica. He has worked on the Fox television series “Divorce Court” and edited multiple promos for “Bar Rescue”. He was in charge of world-wide live streaming of the EDC (Electronic Daisy Carnival) the 3-day music event shot annually in Las Vegas and attended by over a quarter of a million concert goers. He has also been the Chief Engineer for a Microsoft contract for the video game Forza, traveling to Seattle monthly for their live strem events. He also recently completed the engineering for two satellite uplink trucks costing $1,250,000 each going to Mozambique. He also did the CAD Engineering on the City of Compton and for a $2,500,000 mobile system for WWE. He is an invaluable asset to TV Pro Gear. Scott Donovan (VP of Marketing/Producer/Director ) Scott is head of marketing for TV Pro Gear and has over twenty five years of producing/directing experience. He has been with the company for four years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College, Albany, NY. Prior to joining TV Pro Gear, Scott worked in film production and casting for many years in Los Angeles. At TV Pro Gear, Scott oversees all forms of marketing including digital. In addition, he works as a video producer. Most recently, he produced/directed all of the PSA’s for the City of Santa Ana. He worked on the USC graduation ceremonies last year. He has produced many of the marketing videos that can be seen on TV Pro Gear’s website and on YouTube. Andrew Maisner (President and Founder of TV Pro Gear) Andy founded TV Pro Gear in 1997. Prior to that, he was President of American Video Factory for eleven years. Before heading up AVF, Mr. Maisner worked as a commercial and documentary director. He is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Economics. He and his companies have provided crews and equipment for over one-thousand hours of entertainment from the Wonder Years to Divorce Court. He produced Leslie Nielson’s “Bad Golf Made Easy “and Rodney Dangerfield’s “Guide toGolf Style and Etiquette”. Maisner directed the award-winning documentary “Requiem for an Alcoholic” and “Arizona State Prison – the Writers Workshop”. He has directed commercials for AT&T “The Talking Yellow Pages” and twelve “Mac Gallery” series of Apple commercials. Nathan Holsey (Wiring Technician/Camera Operator) Nathan is a Wiring Technician and Production Specialist at TV Pro Gear. Nathan has lead the broadcast installation builds of the NFL, the Navy, major studios, mega churches and sound stage builds. He has been a TV/film production and entertainment professional for over 25 years. Nathan has worked on more than 200 other projects from film & music videos too sitcoms, commercials, and infomercials since 1995. He is a true seasoned production professional. In 2003, Wexler Video embraced Nathan as a Tech Assistant in their Special Projects Department where he helped to build, install and managed the equipment and crews on more than 50 Reality TV Shows in four years, catapulting him into becoming a Technical Supervisor. Malcolm White (Wiring Technician) Malcolm is a Wiring Technician at TV Pro Gear and specializes in audio/video cable infrastructure installation. Five years working at the Sunset Studios has given him experience in different aspects of production/system integration. More notably he helped complete control room builds for Judge Judy, Netflix’s Chelsea, and The Jim Jeffries Show. Throughout these projects Malcolm was assigned terminating video cables, running cable paths, landing and neatly dressing audio and video cables into the racks. Sean Smith (Executive VP/ Producer) Sean will be producing all TV Pro Gear productions moving forward. A native New Yorker, Sean was the VP of Sales for ProCam NY for 6 years. In addition, Sean has overseen live streams large and small and has been a producer for the last twenty five years in New York City at such venues as Madison Square Garden and the Kodak theatre in Los Angeles. He just recently was brought on by TV Pro Gear to oversee all production services. In addition he has overseen large integration jobs for Universal Music Group, Beat Bobby Flay for Food Network and Pawn Stars for History channel. Jason Young (Head of Visual Effects/Editor/Camera Operator/Sound) Jason is TV Pro Gears main editor and visual effecrts expert. He has been with the company for over two years and has edited or done visual upgrades to most of TV Pro Gears marketing videos and brochures. He also has over 15 years of experience doing production. His credits include Visual Effects on the feature films “All Halloween”, “Boris and the Bomb” and the Netflix comedy special Gabriel Iglesias. He was the editor for the virtual graduation ceremonies for Westmark School in Encino last year. Lastly, we performed editing and created visual effectsfor 420 Apple training videos. Mark Finkel (Executive VP/Project Manager) Marc graduated from the American University in Washington, D.C. earning a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Journalism and Telecommunications. His first job out of college was writing and producing video segments for CSPAN, the Cable Satellite and Public Affairs Network. He was later assigned to a fly pack crew to cover live hearings on Capitol Hill. While on assignment, he met CNN Founder Ted Turner walking the halls of the Dirksen Congressional Office Building. After striking up a conversation with Turner, Finkel moved to CNN's DC news bureau. At CNN, Finkel worked as an online editor, technical director, studio engineer, camera operator and segment producer. After 14 years Finkel moved to New York City and began working at Silvercup Studios, a major film and television production facility. Finkel moved to Las Vegas in 2001, where he partnered with Cashman Photo creating a business that recorded weddings. By 2009, Cashman Pro was recording nearly 15,000 weddings and special events per year. In 2021, Finkel returned to LA to become Executive Vice-President of TV Pro Gear. 1E) Firm Ownership/Incorporation – TV Pro Gear, Inc. is a Nevada Corporation. President, Andrew Maisner is the principal stockholder. Date of incorporation is May of 2009 1F) Proof of Theory of Operation of the City’s current system: Upon award of the contract TV Pro Gear, Inc. would send our team to do a thorough inspection of the current system and wiring. At that point, we would make specific recommendations to streamline the system and approach. We would operate with the current system until such time that the upgrades could be implemented. At that point we would train your staff for operation and continue to be available for troubleshooting and questions. Staffing and Project Organization (Please refer to section 1D for team bios) TV Pro Gear, Inc. was founded by company President Andrew Maisner in 1997. We have 14 full time employees and a bullpen of freelancers who work with us on multiple integrations and productions throughout the year. Since we are a system integrator, we have an extensive knowledge of the infrastructure of city council chambers and how to run these meetings. This includes graphics, lower thirds, Power Point, camera operation, switching and audio. We work with all the city clients listed above in the reference section. We would have Benny Altamirano oversee the technical services for your contract and Scott Donovan would be your point of contact for scheduling. If contracted, we would deploy Benny and our wiring team to assess La Quinta’s needs and then once approved do the installation. The wiring team includes Nathan Holsey and Malcolm White. Benny and Scott would be the points of contact for meeting days, with Benny providing the technical support. We have a staff of perfectionists who aren’t satisfied unless the client is happy. Regarding our organizational structure, the company is lead by Andrew Maisner, Benny Altimirano is Chief Engineer and we have numerous techs who work on productions and/or work on system integration projects. In addition, we recently added Sean Smith as Executive Vice President of Production with twenty five years of experience working in New York City broadcast/production. We also added Marc Finkel to our team with over thirty years of experience working for organizations such as CNN and CSPAN. TV Pro Gear states that it is qualified and has the ability to provide all of the services requested in the RFP. We have a team of professionals who are highly qualified to perform the services needed and we are available during the hours that the City of La Quinta is requesting. Our normal business hours are 9am- 6pm Monday-Friday, but city council meetings are often late into the night. We are aware that there can be longer hours and are prepared for that. 6. Subcontracting Services TV Pro Gear, Inc. generally does not use subcontractors. Given our busy production services business we do employ free-lancers for some shoots. There may come a time that we would need to employ a freelancer, but we would always ensure that the person is fully trained by our staff and prepared. We have contacts in La Quinta. We would confirm with the city if we intended to do this. 7. Disclosures TV Pro Gear, Inc. acknowledges that it does not currently have any ongoing litigation due to a contract failure. Commercial credits include Apple (Mac Gallery), Toyota, The Yellow Pages and the joint Disney/McDonalds promotion for 101 Dalmatians. CEO/President 1978 to 1990: Maisner founded and ran American Video Factory in Los Angeles. AVF provided production and editing services to the entertainment and advertising industries. The company’s stages, three video trucks, three editing rooms, two computer animation suites and 48-track audio studio were responsible for more than one hundred hours of programming every year. Projects included :The Golden Globes”, “The Country Music Awards”, “That’s Hollywood”, “The Baseball Bunch” and the pilot for “The Wonder Years”. Commercial clients included J.
