You were previously notified by this office that you were in violation of the City’s Municipal Code. Our records indicate that you were
made aware of the nature of the violation(s), the action(s) necessary to correct the violation(s), and were given ample time to remedy
the violation(s).
Additional inspections were made of the subject property, most recently on October 30, 2019. That inspection revealed that the
necessary corrective action(s) had not been taken. This letter will serve as notice that if the violation(s) is/are not corrected in ten (10)
days from the date of this notice, an administrative citation will be issued in order to seek compliance.
We request your cooperation in resolving the issue(s) by correcting and/or repairing the following violation(s) by the compliance
date(s).

VEHICLES/REGISTRATION
VIOLATION: Vehicles located on private property which are in public
view that are not registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles will
be deemed as being stored.
CORRECTIVE ACTION: Remove vehicle(s) from public view or
prove that the vehicle is currently licensed, operational, and properly
maintained. Non operational registration still means the vehicle is being
stored.

11.80.020 PROHIBITION-
VEHICLE STORED VIOLATION: It is unlawful and a public nuisance for a
person to park, store or leave standing an abandoned vehicle
or parts thereof upon any public or private property within the
city. (Ord. 176 § 1, 1990)
CORRECTIVE ACTION: “Abandoned vehicle†means a vehicle
that is wrecked, dismantled or otherwise inoperative which is parked,
stored, or left standing in public view upon a private or public property
for more than ten consecutive days. A presumption of abandonment
shall arise when a vehicle is located in a residential zone in an area not
specifically designed for vehicular parking. Areas not specifically
designed for vehicular parking in residential zones shall include, but are
not limited to front and side yards and unpaved areas. Demonstrate to
City that the vehicle(s) is/are operational, display current registration,
and are kept in a maintained condition.
