As Owner shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the land located at 51505 AVENIDA MARTINEZ LA QUINTA, CA , you
are hereby notified that the undersigned, has determined that there exists upon the land an (or parts of an) abandoned, wrecked,
dismantled or inoperative vehicle(s) as described above which constitutes a violation of La Quinta Municipal Code 11.80.020 and the
related Sections under Chapter 11.80.
You are hereby notified to abate the nuisance by the removal of the vehicle(s) (or the parts of a vehicle or parts of a vehicle or by
demonstrating to the Officer noted below that the vehicle is operational, currently licensed, and is in a maintained condition) by March
13, 2020. If a request for a public hearing is not received within ten days after mailing the notice of intention to abate, the vehicle or
parts thereof may be disposed of by removal to a scrapyard or automobile dismantler's yard or other suitable site operated by a local
authority for processing scrap.
The costs thereof, together with administrative cost, will be assessed to you, the owner of the land on which said vehicle(s) (or the parts
of a vehicle) is located. Furthermore, the owner will not be compensated for the items removed.
You may submit a sworn written statement by March 13, 2020 denying responsibility for the presence of the vehicle(s) (or parts of a
vehicle) on the land, with your reasons for denial, and such statement shall be construed as a request for hearing at which your
presence is not required. You may appear in person at any hearing requested by you or the owner of the vehicle or, in lieu thereof, may
present a sworn written statement as aforesaid in time for consideration at such hearing. Please contact the Officer whose name and
telephone number appear below.
