As last registered (and/or legal) owner of record of the above described vehicle you are hereby notified that the undersigned has
determined that said vehicle (or parts of a vehicle) exists as an abandoned, wrecked, dismantled or inoperative vehicle located at
51505 AVENIDA MARTINEZ LA QUINTA, CA and constitutes a violation of La Quinta Municipal Code 11.80.020, and the
related Sections under Chapter 11.80.
As last registered (and/or legal) owner of record you are hereby notified to abate the nuisance by removal of the vehicle (or parts of a
vehicle or by demonstrating to the Officer noted below that the vehicle is operational, currently licensed, and is in a maintained
condition) by December 26, 2021.
As registered (and/or legal) owner of said vehicle (or parts of a vehicle), you are hereby notified that you may, by December 26, 2021,
request a public hearing. If a request for a public hearing is not received within ten days after mailing the notice of intention to abate,
the vehicle or parts thereof may be disposed of by removal to a scrapyard or automobile dismantler's yard or other suitable site
operated by a local authority for processing scrap.
As registered (and/or legal) owner of said vehicle, you may submit a sworn written statement by December 26, 2021denying
responsibility for the presence of the vehicle(s)(or parts of a vehicle) on the land, with your reasons for the denial, and such statement
shall be construed as a request for hearing at which your presence is not required.
Additionally, the City shall have the authority to cause the removal of vehicle(s) and assess the costs as aforesaid without a public
hearing. Furthermore, the owner will not be compensated for the items removed. Please contact the Officer whose name and telephone
