Subject: GPA Water Calculations
Michelle and Nicole,
As discussed with Mike Rowe on Tuesday, we have prepared the calculations for water demand for the existing General
Plan/Specific Plan for this property. The assumptions were 132 acres of golf (the amount of acreage remove from the
Andalusia SP), and 750 housing units (the number of homes removed from the Andalusia SP). The results are attached.
Please add these to the water resources and utilities section, explain the difference between the current land use
designations’ demand and the proposed land use designations’ demand, and then determine if the GPA will have a
significant impact on water resources. Given that the water demand is less than the proposed project, and that the WSA
demonstrates that the impact is less than significant for the project’s higher water demand, the determination on level
of impact is clear.
Let me know if you have any questions.
