Please use proper judgement and cau;on when opening a=achments, clicking links or responding to requests for informa;on. ** This Wave Park Project makes NO SENSE.  Like so many others, I fail to understand why La Quinta is moving this forward.   What is there to gain by destroying a beautiful area with an obnoxious wave park?  What does the City gain?  Revenue?  That’s the only thing I can think of.   Bringing a party atmosphere deep into the heart of La Quinta is the opposite of everything La Quinta is known for today.  It’s going to be an eyesore and highly likely to be abandoned in 15-20 years.  The City Council is not representing the residents of La Quinta with the approval of this wave park.  The City Council must think they are representing the hoards of people that are likely to be destructive visitors and not ever residents.  Something is very upside down with the Council’s thinking.
