June 10, 2022
The County of Riverside Registrar of Voters thanks you for the use of your facility for in -
person voting in past elections.
To prepare for the upcoming November 8, 2022, Consolidated General Election,
the County of Riverside Registrar of Voters office is inquiring about the availability of
your facility. The Registrar of Voters would use your facility as a Vote Center from October
29 through November 7, 2022 (8:00 am — 6:00 pm) and Election Day, November 8,
2022 (6:30 am — 9:00 pm).
The County of Riverside has changed how it delivers in -person voting to residents due to
the recently adopted Voter's Choice Act, which formally sets in place the practices used by
the Registrar of Voters office during the June 7, 2022 Primary Election. A voter can go to
any of these Vote Centers throughout the County of Riverside and receive their specific
ballot, rather than just their neighborhood polling place. These centers will be open for
several days leading up to Election Day to give voters who choose to vote in person the
flexibility to cast their ballot at their convenience.
We have identified your site for a potential Vote Center because it meets our needs for
size, accessibility, public access and because of our good working relationship from
previous elections.
Please acknowledge that your facility is available by completing, signing, and dating the
attached "Vote Center Availability Request Agreement" form. You may return the
completed agreement by mail in the enclosed postage paid envelope, by fax to (951) 486-
7320, or by email to Rovpolls(drivco.org. When completing the form please indicate the
specific room space that will be available for the eleven (11) day voting period. It is very
important that our office provides the correct location to our voters.
Please return the "Vote Center Availability Request Agreement" to our Office by Friday
June 24, 2022.

We carefully review all facilities to determine which will be used as a Vote Center. A
confirmation letter will be mailed approximately 45 days before the scheduled election
when a facility is SELECTED. A letter will be sent approximately 15 days before the
scheduled election when a facility is NOT SELECTED, providing the reasons the facility
may not have been selected. Please call us at (951) 486-7341 or (877) 663-9906 (toll
free) if you have not received a letter 15 days prior to the election. Note: If your facility
is SELECTED to serve as a Vote Center, the Lead Election Officer for your site will contact
you to arrange access to the facility prior to the beginning of the voting period for
setup and to guarantee access to the facility. Equipment will be delivered by our Transport
Company and must be set up by our Election Officers no later than Thursday, October 28,
2022.
Voting equipment will be delivered approximately five (5) days prior to the first day of
voting to the SELECTED Vote Centers. Tables and chairs can be delivered upon request.
The Registrar of Voter's Office or our contracted carrier will call to schedule a time and
date for delivery of equipment. Please identify a secure area for voting equipment storage.
Pick up of the equipment will occur within one week after the election, you will receive a
call from our office, or that of our carrier.
Should you have questions or concerns regarding the use of your site as a Vote Center,
please contact our office at (951) 486-7341 or (877) 663-9906 (toll free).
Sincerely,
Election Officers and Polls Division
