2020-04-09 RIV CO COMMENTS ON 3RD TRAFFIC SUBMITTAL1 Cheri Flores From:Tsang, Kevin <KTSANG@RIVCO.ORG> Sent:Thursday, April 9, 2020 4:29 PM To:Cheri Flores Cc:Olivas, Jay; Simmons, Andrew; Steve Libring; Bryan McKinney Subject:RE: Traffic Analysis for Travertine project in La Quinta Attachments:Travertine SP - Extracted TIA Pages - 12184-01 Traffic Phasing - Report ....pdf Follow Up Flag:Follow up Flag Status:Flagged ** EXTERNAL: This message originated outside of the City of La Quinta. Please use proper judgement and caution when opening attachments, clicking links or responding to requests for information. ** Hello Cheri, Based on the extracted pages from the Travertine SP TIA, it’s anticipated the project would have a direct impact to Intersections #9 and #16. Additionally, the project would have indirect/cumulative impacts to Intersection #11, #12, #13, #14, #17, #18, #19. The County requests that the City condition the project to mitigate its direct impacts by constructing the recommended improvements. The County would support mitigating cumulative/indirect impacts through the payment of various impact mitigation fees established by adopted funding programs to the extent that the programs provide funding for the improvement of facilities impacted by the project. Where funding is unknown or a shortfall exists, the County requests that the City condition the project to pay its fair share toward mitigating the cumulative/indirect impacts.
