On October 9, 2018, you were notified by this office that you were in violation of the City’s Municipal Code. Our records indicate that
you were made aware of the nature of the violation(s), the action(s) necessary to correct the violation(s), and were given ample time to
remedy the violation(s).
Additional inspections were made of the subject property, most recently on March 7, 2019. That inspection revealed that the necessary
corrective action(s) had not been taken. This letter will serve as notice that if the violation(s) is/are not corrected in ten (10) days from
the date of this notice, an administrative citation will be issued in order to seek compliance.
We request your cooperation in resolving the issue(s) by correcting and/or repairing the following violation(s) by the compliance
date(s).

VIOLATION: Any owner or authorized agent who intends to
construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the
occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter,
repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or
plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or
to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the
building official and obtain the required permit.
CORRECTIVE ACTION: Cease and Desist any and all work that
requires a Building Permit from the City of La Quinta. Immediately
contact the Community Development Department and submit the
required plans to obtain a Building Permit. PLEASE OBTAIN A
BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE LIVING QUARTERS ADDITIONS
TO THE HORSE STABLE.

UNIFORM CODES
VIOLATION: Violation of any of the zoning or sign ordinances of the
city or any of the uniform codes adopted by the city including the
Uniform Building Code, Uniform Code for the Abatement of
Dangerous Buildings, plumbing code, electrical code, mechanical code,
swimming pool code, firecode, health code and Uniform Housing Code.
CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediate action must be taken to correct
the violation.

VIOLATION: Buildings or structures which are abandoned, partially
destroyed or in a state of partial construction.
CORRECTIVE ACTION: Obtain all required permits, inspections
and approvals from the Building and Safety Department. You must
complete all the necessary repairs, constructions or demolitions.
