2018-09-28 Razook, Ruth Morrow Ranch Comments1 From:Ruth Razook <ruth.razook@rlrmgmt.com> Sent:Friday, September 28, 2018 8:40 AM To:Carlos Flores Cc:Mitch Razook Subject:FW: Morrow Ranch From: Mitch Razook   Sent: Friday, September 28, 2018 8:31 AM  To: 'cflores@laquintaca.gov <cflores@laquintaca.gov>'  Cc: 'Larry Robinson' <lawrencegrobinson@gmail.com>; 'Cassie Gertz' <Cassie.Gertz@managementtrust.com>; 'Deborah  Brill' <brilldeborah@gmail.com>  Subject: Morrow Ranch  Dear Mr. Flores:  I have owned a home in PGA West for almost 20 years. Our most recent home was purchased in the Monterra  development (81905 Four Seasons Place), adjacent to Monroe and Brown Deer. I recently learned of the proposed  development of Morrow Ranch which is in very close proximity to our home. I am very much opposed to the proposed  development and sincerely hope you will re‐consider a temporary use permit as well as permanent permit. I live in La  Quinta for the tranquility and lifestyle that it offers. An events venue will ruin this, reduce property values, increase  congestion and increase transient traffic in the entire community. Last year, (our first in Monterra) the noise from  Coachella was very noticeable and the traffic was miserable. Knowing this is only 3 weekends a year, we can, and will  easily make arrangements to be out of town. This will not be possible with a year round events center that is literally  next door.  I would hope this property would be used for residential, not commercial purposes.   Please consider or re‐consider not granting Morrow Ranch a permit at this time. Perhaps the city can request and  provide to existing and potentially new home owners in adjacent communities such as PGA West (Norman residents)  and Griffin Ranch how Morrow Ranch will address and resolve such issues to ensure the quality of life we currently enjoy  without this potential commercial development. In summary, this is just a very bad idea and use of this property! Thank  you.   Mitch Razook  President/COO  RLR Management Consulting, Inc.  Office: (760) 200-4800  Mobile: (818) 648-2454  mitch.razook@rlrmgmt.com  2 www.rlrmgmt.com  This e-mail may contain confidential and privileged material for the sole use of the intended recipient.
