Good Morning,
I am a Permit Technician and not a plan reviewer. I was instructed by A.J. to reach out to you regarding your submittal
since I initially took in the plans at the counter. If you would like clarification regarding the submitted drawings please
reach out to A.J. or JW to schedule a meeting.
Respectfully,
From: Danielle Morrow

Hi Jack,
Can you please let me know what time you are available this afternoon or tomorrow morning to discuss our plan
submittal/review? I think it might be beneficial to have JW there as well since he was a part of the site meeting(s) when
requirements were discussed?
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Jack,
I would like to set up a meeting with the City to review these additional City requirements. Our
architect and property manager had a few meetings with the City to discuss requirements and this
additional information has not been requested and therefore not prepared or included. I’m not sure
how long you’ve been assigned to this case, but we were required by the City to create as‐built drawings
based on the conditions of the home that were existing when we purchased the home in December of
2017. We have no record of when the improvements were completed by a prior owner and are creating
plans for scratch based on the existing physical nature of the buildings. I just want to ensure we’re not
being asked to prepare plans that are not necessary given our circumstance as it will likely lead to
additional delays. My wife, Danielle, and Steve are in the desert today and can discuss as available.
Thanks,
Scott

Subject: Morrow Ranch Plan Review
Good Morning Mr. & Mrs. Morrow,
The as‐built drawings submitted on 2/1/2019, have been preliminarily reviewed by A.J. However, the
submittal is incomplete since we did not receive the required energy, and structural calculations with
the as‐built drawings. For submittal, please complete the attached building application, include a
deposit of $125.00, submit (3) sets of as‐built drawings , (2) sets of structural calculations stamped by a
structural engineer, and (2) sets of energy calculations. The drawings submitted are crowded with
3
information on each sheet. If possible, please have the drawings revised in order to make them easier to
read for plan review.
I wanted to reach out to you to ensure that your next submittal is as complete as possible to avoid
additional plan check fees due to missing information. Incomplete submittals can be subject to an hourly
city plan check fee of $160.00/hour. Please let me know if you have any questions.
