2022-01-10 Callimanis - TUPs_RedactedMs. Criste, Mr. Castro, regarding the need for a Public Hearing for TUP per the forwarded note Alena Callimanis Mon 1/10/2022 10:15 PM To:Consulting Planner <ConsultingPlanner@laquintaca.gov>;Danny Castro <dcastro@laquintaca.gov> ** EXTERNAL: This message originated outside of the City of La Quinta. Please use proper judgement and cau;on when opening a=achments, clicking links or responding to requests for informa;on. ** Good day.  I was reviewing a note from Tara Bravo, where I have only kept the section on the traffic study and Special Events.  While Ms. Bravo says that there is a need for a public hearing to grant a TUP, based on what I have read on your site, it appears that if a property is zoned tourist commercial, there is no need for a public review process.  It would just need to be approved by the Planning Department Director. Please let me know if I am correct in my interpretation.  Also, please let me know if you need to see the entire note.  Thank you very much.
