Please use proper judgement and caution when opening attachments, clicking links or responding to requests for information. Good day Ms. Criste. Can you please request a copy from the developer of the new, approved, Will Serve letter from IID for the Coral Mountain Resort? Since the City Council will be approving the EIR and the mitigation letter, I think it is critical information for the City Council meeting for the Coral Mountain Project. The EIR still references the expired Will Serve letter. Thank you very much. The City will begin processing your request and will respond as soon as possible, but no later than 5/9/2022. Thank you. Please use proper judgement and caution when opening attachments, clicking links or responding to requests for information. Good day. In the Planning Commission meeting, John Gamlin said there was a new Will Serve letter from IID as of October 2021. However, the EIR, dated February 2022 states the following: In a letter dated May 26, 2020, I/O concluded that electrical facilities can be extended to serve the project, under the conditions in the will serve letter. As we learned, the original Will Serve letter dated May 26, 2020, was cancelled by IID. If there indeed is a valid Will Serve letter, then the date in the Final EIR dated February 2022, should have reflected the new Will Serve letter. Perhaps Mr. Gamlin did not understand our point and was referring to the fact that they have applied for a new Will Serve letter but have not received it. In either case, we would like a copy of the new Will Serve letter, or the request for a new Will Serve letter, so that we can make a valid assessment about the electrical requirements, given the fact that Mayor Evans has said, as part of her work to find an electric company other than IID, that IID is tapped out for providing power to new developments. Thank you for your help. Respectfully, Alena Calimanis La Quinta Residents for Responsible Development 919 606-6164 81469 Rustic Canyon Dr. La Quinta
