If you do this in screen show mode, you can launch the video on the last page. This is for presentation 7. Please let me know if this is the way you want to do this. Again, you must tolerate an ad for 5 seconds and then you can skip it. Thank you very much. Please use proper judgement and caution when opening attachments, clicking links or responding to requests for information. ** Hi, folks. I am sending you this presentation first. I need to know how you want to address this. There is a link on page 5, the last page, to a video from Lemoore. If you use slide show mode, that makes the link active (unfortunately there is a 5 second ad I can't get rid of but you can skip after 5 seconds. How do you want to do this? Do you want me to give you the PDF file and you just put the You Tube link somewhere you can access it? Let me know. Thanks! I will get you the order of the speakers tonight and their presentations. Alena Callimanis 81469 Rustic Canyon Dr La Quinta, CA 92253 6/5/2022 Noise Impacts at Coral Mountain Judy Hovjacky La Quinta Resident 1 EIR States there will be no adverse noise impact • The noise engineer explained that based on Federal Highway Administration guidance and studies, noise bouncing off a hard surface can cause noise increases of no more than 1-2 dBA, which is not perceptible to the human ear. Given the distance between the Wave Basin and Coral Mountain (approximately 650 feet), the soft surfaces over that distance that absorb sound, and the maximum, worst -case noise levels generated at the Wave Basin (75.7 dBA), the Wave Basin will not cause significant noise levels or noise impacts at Coral Mountain or in the surrounding communities. 2 1 6/5/2022 Location of light closest to Coral Mountain during demo - shows 375.1 feet not 650 feet, plus the wave mechanism is bi-directional 3 Two Important Noise Measurements • The dBA unit A -weighted sound level does not measure low frequencies. In this setting, the meter primarily measures in the 500 to 10,000 Hz range. • The dBC unit C-weighted sound level does not discriminate against low frequencies and measures uniformly over the frequency range of 30 to 10,000 Hz. This weighting scale is useful for monitoring sources such as engines and machinery. dBC frequencies can travel further and are harder to mitigate. 4 2 6/5/2022 Sounds from Lemoore — especially listen for the humming — this is what everyone will hear 7AM to 10PM or longer, 365 days are year.
