Good morning. Is there someone I can speak with who can help me understand how the costs for fire
and police is calculated by the town? I am assuming the very high costs in the revenue impact for Coral
Mountain were due to the nature of the hotel, wave pool, and STVRs. I am making an assumption that if
there was an equivalent number of low density residential on that property with no STVRs, and no hotel
and wave pool, the police and fire would be a lot less money.
Also, Measure G says it has money for police. I am trying to understand if that is applied toward new
developments. I would also like to understand what the developer for Cantera on 58th is being charged
for police and fire and is it standard practice to charge the developer.
Thanks for the information.
