Please use proper judgement and caution when opening attachments, clicking links or responding to requests for information. ** Hello, I am a policy analyst and climate impact researcher reaching out to voice my opposition to the Coral Mountain Resort. The community does not want the Coral Mountain Resort, and those that do do so under false pretenses and misinformation. To allow this project to see completion demonstrates that the La Quinta City Council is beholden to external economic interests and is not acting in congruence with the public that you were elected to serve. We're in a drought and on the cusp of facing the most devastating impacts of climate change. How do you justify this project from a community relations standpoint? A sustainability standpoint? It's clear that your team is not considering the implicit costs of this project - economic development for the sake of economic development does not create a net positive benefit. 2 of 2 5/30/22, 11:19 AM
