We com- pleted a very successful design/build project with the City of La Quinta in 1998 called the Fritz Burns Park Pool. We felt our team had significant contributions to the success of this project as it related to the quality of work, your satisfac- tion as our client, and the construction schedule timelines. Our Design Build Team has worked together successfully on many design build projects in the last years. We take great pride in the design, innovation, and quality construction of our work. Our goal is to create a cohesive and synergistic relationship with your team, to build a project that meets the exacting standards of each one of our clients, while managing the project budget, and completing the construction within the project schedule time frames. We would like to confirm our validity statement that all information and pricing provided in the proposal is valid for ninety (90) days, and any and all individuals who will perform work for the City are free of any conflict of interest. As you know, Design/Build projects are relatively new to the public sector and this has been a shining example of the successful design/build contract. Throughout this process, your company was professional, and cooperative in providing the City with a quality facility, and the hest part of the entire contract was it was within budget and within schedule. There are very few public works contracts that are completed without a change order or increase. I am happy to say that this is one of them. Even more impressive, was the schedule in which this project was completed. Working as a team, we actually started from scratch and had a complete pool, locker room, restrooms, and office facility in place within four months. Again, thank you for your diligent work a.rd nrofcssiovatisn: tlimuphout tlie.duration of this contract. Please pass my appreciation onto your staff for a job well done. Sincerely, Chris A.
