SUBJECT: On -Call Landscape Design Services 90-day Contract Extension
As staff begins the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for On -Call Landscape
Design Services, it is imperative that landscape design continues on current CIP
projects and maintains consistency. Per section I.A, subsections 23 and C of the
City's purchasing policy it is in the best interest of the City to ensure continuity
of services and progress of current capital projects.
The Design and Development Department will be issuing an RFP this month
based on section III.B of the purchasing policy.
■ A 90 day extension to the current PSA with Hermann Design Group
■ Amount not to exceed $45,000.00
New vendor agreement to City Council for approval on September 18,
2018

RE: PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF LA QUINTA FOR
ON -CALL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SUPPORT SERVICES
Dear Mr. Hermann,
The City of La Quinta gives notice that it wishes to exercise the option to extend
the term of the Professional Services Agreement for On -Call Professional
Landscape Architectural Support Services in an amount not to exceed $45,000
for a 90-day period expiring on September 30, 2018. Per section I.A, subsections
23 and C of the City's purchasing policy it is in the best interest of the City to
ensure continuity of services and progress of current capital projects. All other
terms and conditions of the Agreement remain unchanged.
