The ES-200X comes with a pre-installed com- municator and supports up to 198 addressable devices (99 detec- tors and 99 modules). With an extensive list of powerful features, the ES-200X programs just like Fire•Lite’s other addressable products, yet fits into applications previously served only by conventional pan- els. The pre-installed IPOTS-COM is a dual technology (POTS and IP) communicator. The POTS transmits system status (alarms, troubles, AC loss, etc.) to a Central Station via the public switched telephone network. The IP communicator’s internet monitoring capability sends alarm signals over the Internet saving the monthly cost of two dedi- cated business telephone lines. Although not required, the second- ary telephone line may be retained providing backup communication over the public switched telephone line. Optional cellular reporting is available using the CELL-MOD or CELL-CAB-FL. Remote and local programming of the control panel is possible using the FS-Tools Upload/Download utility. Programming databases can be uploaded/downloaded via the panel’s USB port (and USB cable) or via an ethernet connection using the IPOTS-COM communicator. The USB port also allows for the download or upload of the entire program, history file, walk-test data, current status and system volt- ages by means of a USB flash drive. The power supply and all electronics are contained on a circuit board supported on a new quick install chassis and housed in a metal cabinet. Available accessories include local and remote upload/download software, remote annunciators, and reverse polar- ity/city box transmitter (4XTMF). They connect to any customer provided Ethernet 10/100 base network connection (LAN or WAN), DSL or cable modem. Selectable reporting path feature allows the radios to be configured for a single or dual path, while providing appropriate supervision intervals based on NFPA 72 requirements. Selectable paths and supervision timing intervals include: Operation When an event occurs, the FACP goes off-hook to dial the central station. The HWF2-COM Series dialer capture module detects the offhook condition and provides the fire panel with a dial tone. When the fire panel detects the dial tone, it begins dialing the central station. After the dialing is completed, the dialer capture module returns a signal to the fire panel. The fire panel then sends the Contact ID reports to the dialer capture module, which in turn sends a signal after the report is successfully received from the fire panel. The dialer capture nodule sends the Contact ID reports to the HWF2-COM Series communications module. When all the reports are sent, the fire panel goes on-hook. The HWF2-COM Series communications module then transmits the messages to the central station either over the LTE network or the Internet (depending on configuration). Fire Communicator / Panel Capability The HWF2-COM Series is compatible with fire alarm control panels that use the Contact ID communications format as described in the SIA DC-05 standard. Easy to Program The HWF2-COM communicator can be pre-programmed using the 7720P programmer to enter all central station information. This is saved to the HWF2-COM communicator panel memory. When the HWF2-COM is installed at the site and connected to the Internet/ Intranet, it registers with the AlarmNet Receiver. For most installations, the only required parameters are: • Primary City ID (two digits), obtained from your monitoring station • Primary Central Station ID (two digits), obtained from your monitoring station • Primary Subscriber ID (four digits), obtained from your monitoring station • Communication Module MAC ID, and MAC CRC number located on the outside of the box and inside of the module All parameters are assigned by the monitoring station. AlarmNet AlarmNet communications technology provides a highly reliable alternative for the transmission of alarm signals. The network provides extensive coverage in the United States and Canada. The AlarmNet Network Control Center processes signals from powerful servers in multiple locations equipped with 24/7 infrastructure support. Redundant hardware servers, real-time backup databases, and generators with battery backup at all locations ensure continuity of service. Moni- tor modules are used to supervise a circuit of dry-contact input devices, such as conventional heat detectors and pull stations, or monitor and power a circuit of two-wire smoke detectors (MMF-302(A)). MMF-300(A) is a standard-sized module (typically mounts to a 4" [10.16 cm] square box) that supervises either a Style D (Class A) or Style B (Class B) circuit of dry-contact input devices. MMF-301(A) is a miniature monitor module a mere 1.3" (3.302 cm) H x 2.75" (6.985 cm) W x 0.65" (1.651 cm) D that super- vises a Style B (Class B) circuit of dry-contact input devices. Its compact design allows the MMF-301(A) to be mounted in a single-gang box behind the device it monitors. MMF-302(A) is a standard-sized module used to monitor and supervise compatible two-wire, 24 volt, smoke detectors on a Style D (Class A) or Style B (Class B) circuit. MDF-300(A) is a standard-sized dual monitor module used to monitor and supervise two independent two-wire Style B (Class B) dry-contact initiating device circuits (IDCs) at two separate, consecutive addresses in intelligent, two-wire sys- tems. LiteSpeed™ is a communication protocol developed by Fire•Lite Engineering that greatly increases the speed of com- munication between analog intelligent devices. Intelligent devices communicate in a grouped fashion. If one of the devices within the group has new information, the panel CPU stops the group poll and concentrates on single points. The net effect is response speed greater than five times that of other communication protocols. MMF-300(A) Monitor Module • Built-in type identification automatically identifies this device as a monitor module to the control panel. • Powered directly by two-wire SLC loop. DF-52130 — Page 1 of 2 CMF-300 and CRF-300 Module The CMF-300 Addressable Control Module provides Fire•Lite Alarm's MS-9200 and MS-9600 intelligent control panels a supervised Class B (Style Y) or Class A (Style Z) circuit for Notification Appliances (horns, strobes, etc.). Addressability allows the CMF to be activated, either manu- ally or through panel programming, on a select (zone or area of coverage) basis. The CRF-300 Addressable Relay Module provides the MS-9200 and MS-9600 systems with two isolated sets of Form-C dry-contact outputs for activating a variety of auxil- iary devices, such as fans, dampers, door holders, con- trol equipment, etc. Addressability allows the dry contact to be activated, either manually or through panel program- ming, on a select basis. • Built-in type identification automatically identifies these devices to the control panel. • Internal circuitry and relay powered directly by two-wire SLC loop. The CMF module requires power (for horns, strobes, etc.). • Integral LED “blinks” green each time a communication is received from the control panel and turns on in steady red when activated. • High noise immunity (EMF/RFI). • The CMF may be used to switch 24-volt NAC power. • Wide viewing angle of LED. • SEMS screws with clamping plates for wiring ease. •Direct Decade 01-99 (MS-9200) and 01-159 (MS-9600) entry of address. The CMF is used to switch 24 VDC audible/visual power. The CRF may be programmed to operate dry contacts for door holders, Air Handling Unit shutdown, etc. • The face plate is made of off-white Noryl®. • Controls include two rotary switches for direct-dial entry of address (01-99 on the MS-9200 and 01-159 on the MS-9600). • The CMF is configured for a single Class B (Style Y) or Class A (Style Z) Notification Appliance Circuit. • The CRF provides two Form-C dry contacts that switch together. Noryl® is a registered trademark of GE Plastics, a subsidiary of General Electric Company.CMF300.jpgEach CMF or CRF uses one of 99 (MS-9200) or 159 (MS- 9600) possible module addresses on a SLC loop. It re- sponds to regular polls from the control panel and reports its type and status, including the open/normal/short sta- tus of its Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC). The LED blinks with each poll received. On command, it activates its internal relay. The CMF supervises Class B (Style Y) or Class A (Style Z) notification or control circuits. Upon code command from the panel, the CMF will discon- nect the supervision and connect the external power sup- ply in the proper polarity across the load device. The dis- connection of the supervision provides a positive indica- tion to the panel that the control relay actually turned ON. The external power supply is always relay isolated from the communication loop so that a trouble condition on the external power supply will never interfere with the rest of the system. Rotary switches set a unique address for each module. The address may be set before or after mounting. The built-in TYPE CODE (not settable) will identify the module to the control panel, so as to differentiate between a mod- ule and a sensor address. DF-52389:B • 01/05/2012 — Page 1 of 2 I300(A) Fault Isolator Module Addressable Devices DF-52389:B • E-940 General The Fire•Lite I300(A) Fault Isolator Module is used with Fire•Lite’s addressable fire alarm control panels (FACPs) to protect the system against wire-to-wire short circuits on the SLC loop. The I300(A) should be placed between each device on the SLC loop to isolate a short-circuit problem between the modules. It is required for true Style 7 operation so that other devices can continue to operate normally in the event of a short-circuit on the SLC. Features • Powered by SLC loop directly, no external power required. • Mounts in standard junction boxes (4.0"/10.16 cm square, 2.125"/5.398 cm deep). • Integral LED blinks to indicate normal condition. Illuminates steady when short circuit condition is detected. • High noise (EMF/RFI) immunity. Applications The Fault Isolator Modules should be spaced between groups of sensors in a loop to protect the rest of the loop. Use to iso- late short circuit problems within a section of a loop so that other sections can continue to operate normally. The I300(A) supports a maximum of 25 devices in-between isolators, except when using relay bases. NOTE: LOADS PER RELAY BASE AND ISOLATORS/ISOLATOR BASES: The maximum number of addressable devices between isolators (or B224BIA isolator bases) is 25 devices. B224RB relay bases draw more current than other intelligent devices. When calculating the 25-device maximum, B224RB rep- resents 2.5 DEVICES; see example on page 2. NOTE: ON MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DEVICES: See the SLC Manual (51309) for information on loss of addresses due to current limitations. Each module or base added reduces the capacity of address positions in an SLC. All SLC field devices must have been purchased after February 1995 to meet the aforementioned requirements. If the SLC field devices were purchased prior to February 1995, each isolator used reduces the capacity of an SLC by two address positions. Requirements differ as applied to relay bases; see note above. Specifications •Operating voltage: 15 – 32 VDC (peak). •Maximum current upon activation due to short circuit: refer to the manual for the main FACP. •Standby current: 450 μA maximum; I300(A) is not isolating – relay closed. •Temperature range: 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C). •Relative humidity: 10% to 93%. •Weight: 5 oz. (150 grams). •Dimensions: 4.5”H x 4.5”W x 0.25” D (11.43 cm H x 11.43 cm W x 0.635 cm D). Construction The face plate is made of off-white plastic. Module includes yellow LED indicator that pulses when normal and illuminates steady when a short is detected. Operation Automatically opens circuit when the line voltage drops below four volts. Fault Isolator Modules should be spaced between groups of addressable devices (maximum 25, see notes on page 1) in a loop to protect the rest of the loop. If a short occurs between any two isolators, then both isolators immedi- ately switch to an open circuit state and isolate the groups of sensors between them. The remaining units on the loop con- tinue to fully operate. In Style 4 loops, the I300(A) is generally used at each T-tap branch, to limit the effect of short circuits on a branch to the devices on that branch. The LED indicator is on continuously during a short circuit condition. The I300(A) Fault Isolator Module automatically restores the shorted portion of the communications loop to normal. Installation • Mount on a standard junction box (4.0"/10.16 cm square) which is at least 2.125"/5.398 cm deep. • Terminal screws are provided for “in and out” wiring. • Installation instructions are provided with each module. • Surface-mount box is available as an option. 2243devices.wmf isolator module or base isolator module or base detector module 25 DEVICES I300(A) Page 2 of 2 — DF-52389:B • 01/05/2012 This document is not intended to be used for installation purposes. As dual listed appliances, these weatherproof strobes, horn strobes and speaker strobes are listed for outdoor applications under UL 1638 as well as under UL 1971, the Standard for Safety Signaling Devices for Hearing Impaired. With an extended temperature range of –40°F to 150°F (–40°C to 66°C), Wheelock weatherproof appliances meet or exceed UL outdoor test requirements for rain, humidity and corrosion resistance while providing multiple strobe intensity options, including the highest strobe ratings available for area coverage per NFPA 72 strobe spacing tables (up to 185 candela for wall mounting and 177 candela for ceiling mounting). To enable weatherproof mounting, Eaton provides the industry’s widest choice of mounting options for surface or unique semi-flush installation. Models are available for surface mounting to Wheelock weatherproof backboxes on walls or ceilings. The optional WP-KIT allows the weatherproof backboxes (IOB, WPBB or WPSBB) to be mounted to a recessed electrical box for concealed conduit installation. For semi-flush installation, the WPA* and WFPA* kits allow a customer to mount the weatherproof appliances to a recessed electrical box without the need for an external weatherproof backbox. See Table 10 on page three of this document for a summarization of these mounting options and the required accessories. All models may be synchronized using the Wheelock DSM sync modules, Wheelock power supplies or other manufacturers panels incorporating the Wheelock patented sync proto- col. The horn output of horn strobes can be independently controlled on 2-wire circuits using the Wheelock patented sync protocol. MTWP horn strobe models are 4-wire appliances; the strobes can be synchronized while the audible can be connected to a coded fire alarm system. MT horns may be synchronized, using the temporal Code 3 horn setting. * Technical Data TD450112EN Effective February 2019 Supersedes September 2017 Wheelock AH, AS, MT, RSS, ET70 2 Technical Data TD450112EN February 2019 EATON www.eaton.com Wheelock AH, AS, MT, RSS, ET70 Features & benefits • Weatherproof with extended temperature range of –40°F to 150°F (–40°C to 66°C)* • Dual Listed strobe models (UL 1638 and UL 1971) • Industry’s highest strobe candela options • Strobes and Code 3 horn synchronize using the Wheelock Sync Modules or panels with built-in Wheelock Patented Sync Protocol • Models with field selectable tone, dBA and candela settings • Wall or ceiling mounting options • Surface or semi-flush mounting (indoor and outdoor) • IN/OUT wiring termination accepting two #12-18 AWG wires at each terminal otee:N Please read these specifications and associated installation instructions, before using, specifying, or installing this product.
