The Fire Department approved plans and conditions letter must be at the job site. 6) NFPA 704 hazard placard and signage is required to be displayed at approved locations. 7) A final inspection along with system activation testing is required to be observed by the Office of the Fire Marshal. INSPECTION REQUESTS: As required by the California Fire Code, the appropriate installing contractor shall be required to schedule the necessary inspections and be present on site for inspections. D. RE-INSPECTIONS: Will be charged against a permit when an inspection has failed, is not ready, the responsible party not on site or where previously noted corrections have not been completed. E. COMMODITIES: Unless otherwise noted on approved plans or letter of conditions, no commodities shall be entered into the structure until clearance has been granted by the Fire Dept and Building Official. F.
