Printed: Friday, March 10, 2023 8:58:32 AM 1 of 4 WSYSiEMS NOTE KOHL HETRICK 2/2/2022 2/2/2022 Communication with General Contractor from Robert Green Residential revealed that the fire sprinkler improvements had already been installed by NP Mechanical prior to permit issuance. GC was inquiring as to perceived delays from OFM to review the fire sprinkler TI plans. I reviewed the permit application with him and showed that NP Mechanical had just recently submitted and was subject to standard 2-week review timeline, with a due date of 2/3/2022. With this information he shared that NP Mechanical had communicated that they were held up with delayed fire reviews, which have proved to not be accurate. I advised that I would be stopping by the project site to confirm the work was installed prior to permit issuance. Upon arrival at the project site, I found that the fire sprinkler TI work was completed and insulation of the ceiling trusses was already done as well. Further, the new supply connect to the overhead main for the sprinkler system below was controlled by a butterfly control valve with tamper in the "Closed" position. This butterfly control valve is not on the plans pending review and is not desired unless Fire Alarm permit is pulled to show that it will be tamper monitored. Administrative Citation will be issued to NP Mechanical for performing work prior to permit issuance.
