*P3a. Description: The one-story single-family residence at 51410 Calle Iloilo property was built in the Tract Ranch style. It has a rectilinear
plan and low-pitched shed and flat roof with broad overhanging eaves. Exterior walls are wood frame clad with stucco. The residence has an
offset front entry with extended eave arcaded veranda supported by wood posts clad in stucco. The front porch is a non-original feature. The
building faces west from the east side of Calle Iloilo with an asymmetrical façade. The roof is clad in a synthetic roofing membrane sloping
downward to the rear of the house. The front elevation features vinyl framed modern faux multi-pane sliding glass windows, a wooden front
door with an upper fan lite in the paneling, and a pair of wood framed multi-lite double-paned doors. Character defining features of Ranch
style homes that can be seen on the subject property include wood framed construction, rectilineaar plan, a low-pitch roof.

The 51410 Calle Iloilo property was researched at the City of La Quinta, the La Quinta Historical Society, the La Quinta Public Library, and via
online archives including Coachella Valley Telephone Directories (1946-1957), City of La Quinta building permits, regional newspapers within the
UC Riverside California Digital Newspaper Collection, aerial imagery from ca. 1930s forward, and the Riverside County Assessor's Office online
property search. Results are limited. The property is not listed in available Coachella Valley Telephone Directories. See Continuation Sheet for

*B6. Construction History: The subject property was constructed in 1948. In 1970, property owner Dorris Morse obtained a permit to
add a porch to dwelling (Permit No. 184271). In 1996, property owners Jesus and Lourdes Benitez obtained a permit to construct a 206 sq.ft.
addition (Permit No. 9607-014). In 1999, property owner Pablo Gutierrez obtained a permit to construct a 125 LF, 5 ft high wood fence (Permit
No. 9911-030). In 2001, property owner Pablo Gutierrez obtained a permit to abandon the septic tank and install a hook-up to the sewer
system (Permit No. 0110-215). According to permit data, the flat roof porch appears to have been added after initial construction. Based on
aerial imagery, the 1996 206 sq. ft. addition was constructed along the south elevation. All fenestration facing the public right-of-way has
been replaced. Based on Google Earth street photography, it appears there have not been any changes to the exterior of the residence since
2012.
