The 51422 Calle Iloilo property was researched at the City of La Quinta, the La Quinta Historical Society, the La Quinta Public Library, and via
online archives including Coachella Valley Telephone Directories (1946-1957), City of La Quinta building permits, regional newspapers within the
UC Riverside California Digital Newspaper Collection, aerial imagery from ca. 1930s forward, and the Riverside County Assessor's Office online
property search. Results are limited. The property is not listed in available Coachella Valley Telephone Directories. See Continuation Sheet for
significance and integrity conclusions.
*B6. Construction History: The subject property was constructed in 1948. In 1987, property owner Leon Finley obtained a permit to
build a garden wall (Permit No. 002923). In 2008, the property owner, the Bank of America, obtained a permit to switch out the electrical
meter (Permit No. 08-0446). In 2011, property owner Russel and Mirijam Clark obtained a permit to construct a 348 sq.ft. addition (Permit No.
11-0750). Aerial photographs from 2013, indicate that the home was substantially remodeled in a campaign that replaced much of the original
fenestration, removed the arcaded veranda, and reconfigured the roofing form (Google Earth / Google Maps). The dwelling appears to have
originaly featured a prominent stucco clad arched patio and fixed aluminum framed windows on the west (front) elevation. These features
appear to have been replaced with an entryway pergola / carport and vinyl framed sliding windows.
