*P3a. Description: The one-story single-family residence at 79895 Fiesta Drive was built in the Tract Ranch style with custom elements. It
has a L-shaped plan and low-pitched hipped roof with broad overhanging eaves. The exterior walls are wood frame clad with board and
batten siding and horizontal siding at the base. The building faces northeast from the south side of Fiesta Drive with an asymmetrical façade.
The roof has a open eaves with exposed rounded rafter ends; the roof is clad in asphalt composite shingles. The residence has an offset front
entry with extended eave porch supported by wood posts. The fenetration at the front elevation consists of two large tripartite vinyl framed
sliding glass windows (sliding / fixed / sliding) and one smaller single-pane vinyl sliding glass windows. The wood front door has a large
rectangular center lite flanked by two wood framed single-lite sidelites. The residence has an attached garage on the side, under the main
roof. Character defining features of Ranch style homes that can be seen on the subject property include: asymmetrical façade, wood frame
construction, attached garage, a low-pitched hipped roof, board-and-batten siding, and a recessed front porch.

The 79895 Fiesta Drive property was researched at the City of La Quinta, the La Quinta Historical Society, the La Quinta Public Library, and via
online archives including Coachella Valley Telephone Directories (1946-1957), City of La Quinta building permits, regional newspapers within
the UC Riverside California Digital Newspaper Collection, aerial imagery from ca. 1930s forward, and the Riverside County Assessor's Office
online property search. Results are limited. The property is not listed in available Coachella Valley Telephone Directories. See Continuation

*B6. Construction History: The subject property was constructed in 1963 by the Westward Ho and Bellwood Discount Corporation. In
2003, property owner Shane Falleur obtained a permit to abandon the septic tank and connect the residence to the sewer system; the work
was completed by A-1 Cesspool Services (Permit No. 0306-107). In 2011, property owner Jack D Falluer obtained a permit to reroof the
residence (Permit No. 11-0183). In 2015, property owner Shane Falleur obtained a permit to changeout the HVAC system; the work was
completed by A1 Services Heating & Air Conditioning (Permit No. 2015-0372). In 2015, Shane Falleur obtained a permit to build a 239 LF Block
Wall and 20LF Pilasters (Permit No. 2015-0304). Aerial photography did not offer any additional information regarding changes to the
property over time, but a rear patio appears to have been added after initial construction.There does not appear to have been any other
significant alterations to the essential form of the residence. The windows, front door, and garage door are all modern replacements to the
original dwelling.

Past owners and occupants include: Bates and Virginia Conrad (1970; Desert Sun) and Shane and Jack Falleur Mulcahy (2003-2015; Permits). Virginia
Conrad was a administrative assistant and executive secretary with a local non-profit organization, the United Way of the Desert. She was a former
Pan American Airlines executive secretary before she moved to LA Quinta. Her husband, Bates Conrad, was a chariman for the Desert Empire Shrine
Club, which regularly met at the Desert Club in La Quinta, and president of the Westward Ho Golf Club board of directors.
The home was built in the Tract Ranch style within the Indian Springs residential subdivision, recorded in 1960-61, and is within the Indian Springs
(previously the Westward Ho Golf Club) neighborhood. The subject property was constructed in 1963 by the Westward Ho and Bellwood Discount
Corporation, who built Tract Ranch style homes with Custom elements between 1961 and 1965.
The dwelling is associated with the theme of Residential Development (1934-1970s), being located in one of La Quinta's first subdivisions after the
development of the Cove, but it does not possess individual documented significance in relation to this theme. The property is assigned a 6Z status
