LandCare
Goals for the first 30 to 90 days.
With our input, these goals will reflect identifying, prioritizing and proposing corrective action to
bring about a more pleasing landscape design and management. The following is an insight of
our management goals for SilverRock Park and Perimeter Landscape. We would like to
propose the followingtwo goals; the first is to set and organize the day-to-day grounds
operations. The second goal will include the emotional aspect of your landscape restoration in
the common elements. We would assist and advise The City of La Quinta representatives with
a new idea for replacement of inappropriate design, aged or declining landscape material.
Our goals are as follows:
Grounds Operations
Within the first 30 to 60 days, Conserve Landcare would provide City representatives with a
detailed list of plants and perform all targeted landscape materials for structure cutbacks
where needed. This will depend on the current environmental conditions and seasonal
growth habits of the effected plants. This will provide a better environment for the recovery
of the plant material, as well as ensure a presentable appearance for members.
Our 30-90 day goals in the ground operations would also be focusing on bed detailing, as it
pertains to maintaining the landscape beds free from weeds.
Establish pruning standards for symmetry throughout all SilverRock Park and Perimeter
locations. Identify areas where deferred or improper maintenance has occurred and provide
a strategic plan for rectification. This could be through heavier cleanup maintenance,
regenerative pruning, or complete removal and replacement. Coordinate with City of La
Quinta representatives to schedule work at optimal times of the year based on occupancy
and best time of year horticulturally for plants.
Irrigation Goals
Our 30-90 day goals consist of making sure your irrigation system is working in the most
efficient way possible, consistent with the standards set by our certified irrigation auditor, to
ensure maximum efficiency and correct amounts of irrigation for your landscape. Conserve
will implement industry standard water conservation practices in regard to irrigation
scheduling. Conserve will keep existing irrigation system in proper working condition at all
times. We will make the Club representative aware of any problems with valves, wires, or
controller, and propose reasonable and timely solutions. We will complete all approved
repairs in a timely manner. We will also create a zone inspection sheet for our assigned
irrigation technicians to fill out during his/her monthly inspections.
Turf Health
Within the first 30 to 60 days, Conserve Landcare will take special care of turf areas
suffering distress and or damage. The problem will be identified and appropriate actions is
to be taken , i.e., check irrigation coverage, fertilizing, fungicides, or other such action. This
will be brought to the attention of the Club representatives.
Tree Care
Our municipal arborist would conduct an inspection of the urban forest at SilverRock
Perimeter and Park based on several factors like age/size, planting locations, target sites if
failure occurred, property damage due to roots, etc.
