Cover Letter
City of La Quinta,
I am writing to express Vintage Electric's interest in the Landscape Lighting
Maintenance project as detailed in your Request for Qualifications (RFQ). With
over 35 years of dedicated service in the electrical contracting and construction
industry, Vintage Electric has consistently delivered top-notch solutions to both
public and private clients in La Quinta and the Coachella Valley.
Contractor's Background, Qualifications, and Experience: Vintage Electric has
been in business since 2009, bringing over a decade of expertise to every project
we undertake. Our Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is 1000045001,
Taxpayer Identification Number is 46-4578102. Vintage Electric has
accumulated extensive experience over the years, having performed various
landscape lighting projects. James Tourje, owner, will be responsible for the
performance of this RFP. Vintage Electric, incorporated as Vintage E & S, Inc., in
2013 is an S-Corporation in California.
Qualifications Summary: At Vintage Electric, our mission is to provide
unparalleled electrical contracting and construction services while upholding
the highest standards of integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction. (b) Vintage
to schedule one lighting maintenance employee up to eight hours per day, five
days per week every two weeks, bi-weekly or until all lighting zones have been
inspected and maintained. Provided within the proposal is one certified
electrician for up to 16 hours per month as needed to perform electrical work
outside qualifications of Lighting Maintenance Tech. Reporting format will be
as per page 99 or similar on the RFP. Vintage utilized Quick Time to schedule
employees directly. Cones will be used to designate our maintenance vehicle
and high visibility shirts and vests to be worn. Ladders of up to 14 feet will be
used. In the rare occasion lighting needs to be serviced over 14 feet, Vintage
to rent scissor or reach lift at City's' expense. Vintage Electric staff has seven
year's actual on call experience for the City of La Quinta. Vintage Electric will
utilize Lighting Maintenance Tech and Certified Electrician.
Our main office, located in Indio, CA, serves as the hub for our operations.
With 6 employees and years of operation, our office is fully equipped to
support project requirements effectively.
In conclusion, Vintage Electric is fully prepared and committed to delivering
exceptional results for the Landscape Lighting Maintenance project. We are
confident that our qualifications, experience, and dedication make us the
perfect partner for this endeavor. All information and pricing is valid for at

In compliance with the Advertisement for Proposals, the undersigned Contractor:
Has examined the contract documents, site of work, and being familiar with the conditions to be
met, hereby submits the following Proposal for furnishing the material, equipment, labor, and
everything necessary for the completion of the work listed and agrees to execute the contract
documents and furnish the required bonds and certificates of insurance for the completion of

Unit prices in each and every case represent the true unit price used in preparing the proposal

Work shall be completed within one (1) year (twelve [12] months), by June 30, 2025, beginning
on July 1, 2024, as specified in the Notice to Proceed.
The City may elect to exercise an extension to renew this contract for six (6) additional one-year
terms with a ninety (90) day notice, on a year-to-year basis, contingent upon satisfactory work of
the contractor.
