As you can see in the diagram above, we have six distinct steps between executing the agreement to full implementation. These steps are: Step One. Instance Configuration. Depending on the license you choose, our team will use this step to either create and configure a new server and database instance or configure a multi -tenant instance to allow your users to log in. This process usually takes between one and two weeks. Step Two. Import Data. Our team will receive Microsoft Excel and comma separated flat files from your team to map over as much as possible. In addition to data files, our team will receive other reference files you want stored in folders inside your project(s). This information will become accessible as reference only. The process of importing data varies based on the volume of data you have. However, we can typically import that data in less than two weeks. 9245 Laguna Springs Drive, Suite 200 1 Elk Grove, CA 95758 1 www.c-mis.com 1 Office 530.207.0083 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT ENTERPRISES, DBA CMIS 10 1 Instance Configuration (4-21.deeks) Import Data (Varies depending on data) New Osei' Training (In -Person) (2H) Individua I training (virtual) as needed Quarterly Chea -In Entail and phoDe support as needed Over the years we have streamlined the implementation strategy to make it fast and easy for your entire team to get going quickly. New User Training. We come to you on two different occasions for four-hour sessions for no additional charge. This allows you to split up your team so not everyone that belongs in the field is stuck inside away from their projects. During training, we work on a live version of your instance of the tool so your team can see, edit, and update information in real time - just as they will experience it in the field. We can get this finished within a week of configuring your instance. Step Four. New User Acclimation. Let's face it, not everyone learns the same way or retains information for the same amount of time, that's why we confirm your entire team is ready to use the system in the beginning. We find the most effective way to get users acclimated is to offer them virtual support sessions where we can share screens and walk them through the processes for which they are stuck. Through experience, we find the first month of use the most active for these sessions. We understand that you may need additional training beyond this acclimation period. We provide both in-person and virtual sessions for an additional fee. Step Five. Email and Phone Support As Needed. We will continue to support your team as they use CMIS to begin new projects, wrap up completed projects, or jump onto an existing project to help. Your team gets direct access to the software author (and daily user) of the tool through email and phone. Step Six. Quarterly Check -In. While we typically stay connected with our users regularly, we commit to engaging with you at least every quarter to discuss your team's success and experience with the tool. This is usually the time where we hear product enhancement requests. During these calls, we will share the updates we have rolled out and generally discuss the direction we are headed for future development. PROVIDE ONGOING MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES CMIS will provide ongoing maintenance and support during the contract period including, but not limited to: Troubleshooting, version upgrades, software patches, and technical support. INTEGRATION SERVICES/OPTIONS CMIS works hand-in-hand with the tools you already trust, making integration with your existing Microsoft and data analysis platforms effortless. When it's time to set up a project, CMIS lets you import bid item lists directly from XLS, CSV, or text files, saving you time and eliminating errors. Need to share insights or maintain compliance? You can export detailed reports in PDF and XLS formats, ensuring you have everything you need for thorough analysis, audit compliance, and clear internal communication.
