Based on the amount of reviews already completed for these projects and the need for additional reviews to obtain plan approval, it is required for you to submit a deposit payment of $2,000.00 that will be used to cover the City and Outside Consultant staff time that has already been incurred in addition to the standard processing fee of $107.87. Per the currently adopted fee schedule though, these funds are not eligible to be returned if the project does not move forward since it is being collected for work that has commenced. Attached is an Invoice for payment processing, this amount can either be paid in person by cash, credit or check, or online by credit card – If you would like to pay online to expedite getting the permit applications open for you to resubmit please let me know and I can send you a digital invoice. Remember we are still all digital for permit processing, so if you do make payment in person you will still need to utilize the web portal for submitting the plans for review. It is also important to point out in the review of your extension request I found errors in your plan submittals, those being the site plans not matching the actual floor plans within the sets and the conditioned floor areas (as defined) not reconciling between the plan cover sheets and the energy documents for the Living, Sleeping, Flex and Detached Casita square footages. Again, per the currently adopted fee schedule, the base plan check fees only include an initial check and one re-check, all subsequent re-check services are being billed at a rate of $161.00 per hour. Please let me know if you have any questions, but also to confirm if you will be coming in for payment or would like an online payment option.
