AMENDMENT NUMBER 1
The following shall be considered as incorporated into the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the above-
referenced project. Portions of RFP that are not specifically mentioned in this addendum remain in
force.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
1. Question: Is there a budget range or cost estimate available for these projects to help guide
proposal preparation?
Answer: No, proposals will provide an estimated cost estimate.
2. Question: Are there potential funding constraints or grant deadlines that might impact the
project timeline?
Answer: No.
3. Question: Are there specific stakeholders the City anticipates engaging with during the design
process?
Answer: Montero Estates HOA.
4. Question: Is a geotechnical investigation required for the project? If so, will the City provide
existing geotechnical reports, or is the consultant expected to perform new investigations as
part of the scope of work?
Answer: To be determined depending on recommended wall repair by designer.
5. Question: Does the City have specific design standards or as-built drawings to follow for the
reconstruction of the retaining wall and/or garden walls?
Answer: Yes, please see link on page 11, Attachments no. 6.
6. Question: Are there specific permitting requirements or coordination with other agencies
(besides utility research) that the proposer needs to account for?
Answer: No.
