ADDENDUM NUMBER 1
TO: All Prospective Bidders and Plan Holders

SUBJECT: Project No. 2023-01, Miles Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation
The following shall be considered as incorporated into the project plans and specifications for the above
referenced project. Portions of plans and specifications not specifically mentioned in this Addendum
remain in force.
■ PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
Section 1240:
Add the following sentence after second paragraph:
Pulverization activity is considered specialty work.
Section 3000:
Sheet 3000-8, Subsection 4.4 Permits, Licenses and Inspection Fees, Add the following
sentence:
Additionally, the Contractor will also be required to obtain a no -cost encroachment permit from the
Cities of Indio and Indian Wells. Contractor shall notify La Quinta when permits have been
submitted.
Section 4000:
Sheet 4000-1, Section 3: Traffic Control, Add the following paragraph after 51h paragraph:
Work is not allowed and all lanes must be paved and available between Washington Street to Adams
Street during the Tennis Tournament, March 2-16, 2025.
The Contractor is hereby notified; Addendum No. 1 must be acknowledged and initialed as
stipulated under the instructions to Bidders and submitted as part of the Bid. Failure to do so
shall result in the City designating said bid as "Non -Responsive."
