In order to provide the warranty, they are requiring EITHER installation of/2' roof board OR an additional layer of/2' OSB . We propose to proceed with adding an additional layer of/2' OSB over the existing as it is more cost effective. Please confirm with Structural if the additional load that would be created by another layer of/2' OSB is acceptable. If acceptable, we respectfully request Structural Stamp to satisfy the City Inspector. Please note that the additional layer of OSB would only extend to end of the building, and is not required at the overhangs. Please also issue revised roofing detail and nailing pattern as Sheet S-R1.1 does not include currently include a nailing pattern, and RFI #60 Response does not account for an additional '/2' layer of OSB. This applies to Bldgs B, C, D, F, G, and H only. The remaining three roofs (A, E, J) are acceptable with rigid insulation that was added for the Energy Model.
