Provide the make and model of the units and include the manufacture data sheet showing the UL listing. 2) On a floor plan, note all the doors that will be equipped with the delayed egress locking system. 3) Note to Plans: Occupancies with delayed egress systems shall be protected with an automatic smoke or heat detection system that activates the fire alarm occupant notification system. Fire alarm plans shall be submitted to the Office of the Fire Marshal before the system is installed. Reference California Fire Code (CFC) 1010.2.13 4) Note to Plans: An attempt to egress shall initiate an irreversible process that shall allow such egress in not more than 15 seconds when a physical effort to exit is applied to the egress side door hardware for not more than 3 seconds.
