(I IB-805.4.1) c) Turning space complying with Section I IB-304 shall be provided within the rooms. (I IB-805.4.3) d) All hand washing fixtures, lavatories and sinks shall comply with Section I IB-606. (I IB-805.6) e) Built-in cabinets, counters and work surfaces shall be accessible, including: patient wardrobes, nurse's stations, administrative centers, reception desks, medicine preparation areas, laboratory work stations, equipment consoles, clean and soiled utility cabinets, and storage areas; and shall comply with Sections I I B-225 and 11 B-902. (I 1 B-805.7) 2) Handles, pulls, latches, locks, and other operable parts on doors and gates shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. The force required to activate operable parts shall be 5 pounds maximum. Operable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. Where sliding doors are in the fully open position, operating hardware shall be exposed and usable from both sides.
