ADDENDUM NUMBER 1
The following shall be considered as incorporated into the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the above -
referenced services. Portions of RFP not specifically mentioned in this Addendum remain in force. Please
note that questions with similar topics have been put together with one response.

What is the budget for the project?
No budget has been established yet.
Please confirm that our submittal is delivered via email, and no hard copies are
required.
The submission requirements states: "Proposals can be submitted via email,
hand delivery, or mail... Submit five (5) paper original proposals in a sealed
envelope with an electronic original copy on a flash drive..." Can you please
clarify whether hard copy proposals and flash drive are required in addition to
email proposals?
No hard/paper copies are required. Please submit proposals electronically via

Does the City have a schedule established for this project? If so, can we please
get the schedule?
We expect work to start in October/November and are looking to the consultant
to provide a proposed work schedule.

o Answer: Please see Bullet #19 under General Terms and Conditions in the RFP. Local
vendors are not required.

No specific dates are set yet, but we are anticipating between September 15-
September 22, 2025 for interviews.

• Question 6: Do we place the firm/team information in 2A under Proposal Format?
o Answer: Yes, you may place the firm/team information in Section 111.2.a. You may also
include it with subsections 2.d, e, f, and g.
• Question 7: The Request for Proposal states "2. Firms Background, Qualifications, and
Experience, including the following: b. Descriptions of three (3) similar projects
the consultant has conducted within the last five (5) years, with client
references for each. Each reference shall include the complete contact
information for the key city staff directly involved with the project. Can we
provide more than 3 projects? If not, can we provide 3 projects for our firm and
each of our subconsultants?
o Answer: You may provide information for more than three (3) projects, as long as it fits
within the 25-page limit.
• Question 7: Can you please clarify what is the difference in information you are requesting
under 2B and 3?
o Answer: Section 111.2.b is requesting descriptions of similar projects. Section 111.3 is
included in case any references you are using are not associated with projects
described in Section 111.2.b. Please provide a summary of projects in Section
111.2.b and provide references in Section 111.3 with requested information.
• Question 8: Can you please clarify what information you want under 5. List of
Complementary Services Offered by Proposer along with Corresponding
Prices?
o Answer: Section 111.5 is included in case you have any other services that you might feel
could be beneficial to the project along with pricing. This is an optional section.
• Question 9: Do we provide the same information under 2 D, E, F, and G for our
subconsultants?
o Answer: Information requested in Sections 111.2.e, f, and g are only required for the
prime consultant. Please include information requested in Section Ill.d for
subconsultants.
• Question 10: The Request for Proposal states 10. Acknowledgement of Insurance
Requirements (Attachment 2) - Proposals must include a written statement
that, if selected, the proposer will provide the minimum insurance coverage and
indemnification noted in Exhibits E and F, respectively, of the City's Agreement
for Contract Services included as Attachment 1. Do we include attachment 2
and a statement or just Attachment 2?
o Answer: You may include Attachment 2 only. Attachment 2 serves as the written
statement.

• Question 11: Can we receive more information for the Category in the criteria called
Intangible Qualities? What information will you review to score this?
o Answer: Intangible Qualities may include items such as how many active projects
consultants have, if the consultant has experience with projects in the
desert/Coachella Valley, or proximity of office to site.
• Question 12: Do the required Attachment forms (2-4) count toward the 25 page limit?
o Answer: No, required forms do not count toward the page limit.
The Consultant is hereby notified, Addendum No. 1 must be acknowledged as required under
Section 6, Addenda, and submitted as part of the RFP. Failure to acknowledge and incorporate
addenda will not relieve the proposer from the responsibility to meet all terms and conditions of
the RFP and any subsequent addenda.
