The Highway 111 Corridor Specific Plan and Development Code aims to guide infrastructure, business, and housing development, creating a unified space
for shopping, living, working, and recreation, accessible by Highway 111, the CV Link, and other multi -use paths. The Specific Plan includes development
scenarios based on market studies of the area and proposes replacing the existing specific plans along the Corridor. The Development Code implements the
Specific Plan and establishes location -specific design standards and use permissions. The La Quinta Design and Development Department has prepared a
Mitigated Negative Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEOA). The Planning Commission will consider this at the Public Hearing.
Any person may submit written comments on any of the contemplated actions listed above to the Design and Development Department at
Planning@LaOuintaCA.gov before the Public Hearings and/or may appear and be heard in support of, or in opposition to, the project at the time of the Public
Hearing. If you challenge the decision of any of the actions listed above in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else
raised either at the Public Hearings or in written correspondence delivered to the Design and Development Department at or before the Public Hearing. For
additional information, please contact Cheri Flores, Interim Design and Development Director at CLFlores@LaOuintaCA.gov or (760) 777-7067.
In the City's efforts to comply with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, it is required that any person in need of any type of
special equipment, assistance, or accommodations in order to communicate at a City public meeting, inform the Planning Commission Secretary, Tania Flores,

Please make the following corrections:
Planning Manager should be changed to Interim Design and Development Director
CLFlores@LaQuintaCA.Gov should be changed to CLFlores@LaQuintaCA.gov (lower case g) for
consistency.
Thank you.
