PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT CODE PROJECT

The Highway111 Corridor Specific Plan and Development Code aim to guide infrastructure, business, and housing development,
creating a unified space for shopping, living, working, and recreation, accessible by Highway 111, the CV Link, and other multi-
use paths. The Specific Plan includes development scenarios based on market studies of the area and proposes replacing
the existing specific plans along the Corridor. The Development Code implements the Specific Plan and establishes location -
specific design standards and use permissions. The La Quinta Design and Development Department has prepared a Mitigated
Negative Declaration (MND) pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The Planning Commission considered
the project on October 14, 2025, and recommended that the City Council adopt the MND and approve the Specific Plan, Zone
Change, and Zoning Ordinance Amendment. The City Council will consider this determination at the Hearing.
Any person may submit written comments on any of the contemplated actions listed above to the Design and Development
Department at Planning@LaQuintaCA.gov before the Public Hearings and/or may appear and be heard in support of, or in
opposition to, the project at the time of the Public Hearing. If you challenge the decision of any of the actions listed above
in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised either at the Public Hearings or in
written correspondence delivered to the Design and Development Department at or before the Public Hearing. For additional

MANAGEMENT ANALYST I/ II- CONSERVATION - Coachella Valley
Association of Governments (CVAG) - (Position grade: $81,294 -
$128,838 annually depending on qualifications, plus a generous paid
benefits package including PPO/HMO). Full-time position. Under the
direction of the Director of Land and Habitat Conservation, responsible
for the coordination of the biological monitoring and land management
program for the Coachella Valley Multiple Species Habitat Conservation
Plan (CVMSHCP). Performs a wide variety of complex administrative
and analytical duties, coordinates conservation efforts with state
and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and other contractors
on behalf of the Coachella Valley Conservation Commission (CVCC).
Ability to gather and compile facts and statistics; to evaluate program
effectiveness and forecasting; prepare and review contractual and
regulatory documents; prepare and maintain complex program records
and systems applications; strong writing abilities are essential.
REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university with major coursework in biological sciences,
ecology, natural resource management, environmental studies, or a
closely related field.
